Invitation: "Bird's Hostel" Exhibition

We warmly invite you this Saturday to the official opening of the “Bird’s Hostel” Exhibition, a collaborative photography exhibition by researchers, scientists and photographers from Hungary and Albania. The exhibition is a product of an intensive songbirds banding process particularly throughout Acrocephalus expedition.

The exhibition aims to bring nature and art lovers together. Reedbeds are among the most important habitats for birds in Albania. They support many breeding birds, in winter they are used as roosting sites for several species. Many migratory species also arrive to feed and roost in our reedbeds.

Ultimately, bird banding also helps us understand how to conserve the reedbeds and environments in which these species live and breed. While going through the pieces, we suggest that you look at them with the eyes of a nature lover. Please join us for the opening ceremony on Saturday 10th February at 6pm, Kalo Gallery. Feel free to bring guests.

The exhibition runs from 10th to the 25th of February 2018.
